VolkerLaser takes part in National Interview Month
Over the last month, colleagues across VolkerLaser have been participating in National Interview Month with Your Game Plan.
Running from 3 February to 7 March, National Interview Month provides thousands of students with a 1-2-1 virtual interview with an industry professional, as well as supporting them to create their CV.
Across the month, 17 employees from across various divisions and departments of VolkerLaser participated in the campaign, interviewing more than 80 students.

“I found the interview very productive and gave me a very good idea of what a real-life interview would be like. The interviewer was very nice and asked appropriate questions and made it a very comfortable environment for me. I didn’t feel as nervous as I thought I would.”

Following each interview, students were given tailored feedback, based on the Universal Skills Builder Framework, giving them hints and tips for interview practice in the future.
