Delivering joy this Christmas
This December, teams across the VolkerLaser business have been delivering joy to charities up and down the UK.
Our teams working on two projects within the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) in Oldbury collected more than £700 worth of food and toiletries to donate to their local Trussell foodbank.
Staff from our Worcester head office also chose to donate to Trussell, gathering over £500 worth of goods to deliver, supporting their winter appeal. Additionally, project teams based in Welford, Rugby and Nottingham have all delivered collections to local foodbanks in the last week.
Our operatives based on projects in Newport and Whorlton collected a range of toys and gifts to donate to their local Salvation Army centres, supporting their annual Christmas Present Appeal.
Staff across the business also marked Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 12 December, choosing to raise money for Mates in Mind and Save the Children.
What a fantastic way to close out the year!
