VolkerLaser shortlisted for National Highways Industry Award
VolkerLaser is proud to announce that two of our HSEQS advisors, Sarah Byrne and Jade Dowd-Guest, have been shortlisted in the Exceptional Contribution to Road User Safety category at the upcoming National Highways Industry Awards 2024.

Now in its fourth year, the National Highways Industry Awards celebrates successes and recognise best practice performance in safety, customer service and delivery across the roads sector. The Exceptional Contribution to Road User Safety award recognises individuals or teams who have made an exceptional contribution to delivering long-term road safety, aligning with National Highways safety ambition.
Sarah and Jade have been recognised for their work in developing VolkerLaser’s ‘Drive Right’ campaign, an initiative designed to positively influence driver behaviour and improve road safety. A standout feature is their board game-inspired training tool, bringing a fresh, engaging approach to HSEQS and making key safety messages more memorable.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 5 March 2025.
“VolkerLaser is incredibly proud to have been shortlisted by National Highways for an award which recognises our exceptional contribution to road safety. This is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise of Sarah and Jade, and their commitment to creating safer roads for all users.”
