VolkerLaser Ladies
Seven members of the VolkerLaser team will be taking part in the Race for Life on the 24th June in aid of Cancer Research UK. This 5km event will take the team around the Worcester Race Course, along the River Severn through the streets of Worcester finishing at "The Hive" Worcester's new iconic library.
We aim to achieve our target of £1,000 and support the biggest fight against cancer. All donations will help continue to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
Did you know that 80p in every pound raised goes directly towards the work to beat cancer?
Here are some examples of how our fundraising contributions will help:
- £10 could buy 300 glass slides for studying cells and tumour samples in detail under the microscope.
- £30 could buy around 250 plastic Petri dishes.
They're an essential resource for thousands of scientists who are working hard to understand cancer.
