New appointment to the VolkerWessels Management Board
The Supervisory Board of VolkerWessels wishes to announce that on 6 February 2012, Henri van der Kamp (1960) was appointed as a member of the VolkerWessels Management Board.
Henri van der Kamp will be responsible for the Infrastructure sector in The Netherlands, which comprises the Dutch companies KWS Infra, Van Hattum en Blankevoort, VolkerRail Netherlands, Vialis, VolkerInfra and Aveco de Bondt.
These VolkerWessels companies, which have a combined turnover of EUR 1.3 billion, are involved in the design, construction, management and maintenance of roads, waterways, railway connections and ports.
Increasingly, focus in the sector is shifting towards the optimised, sustainable operation of new and existing infrastructure. Henri van der Kamp, who joined VolkerWessels in 2007, already bore responsibility for this sector prior to the current appointment.
The VolkerWessels Supervisory Board and Management Board said: "We are very pleased to welcome Henri van der Kamp as a member of the VolkerWessels Management Board,' says Gerard van de Aast, Chairman of the Management Board. ‘His experience and background form excellent complements to the Board's existing strengths."
