National Highways announce Scheme Delivery Framework supply chain partners
VolkerLaser is delighted to be one of 50 supply chain partners selected by National Highways to carry out up to £3.6 billion worth of renewals.
The new Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) replaces the, soon-to-expire, existing contract mechanisms, known as the Construction Works Framework (CWF), Design Services Contracts (DSC) and Asset Support Contract (ASC). The scheme is in place to keep England’s motorways, and major A roads, running safely and smoothly.
VolkerLaser has been awarded the following lots: structures and concrete repairs for Areas 3, 4, 7 and 9, structures, waterproofing and expansion joints for Areas 9, 10 and 13, and cathodic protection for Areas 4 and 9.
Managing director, Mike Weaver, said: “We are delighted to continue to work with National Highways to deliver structural repairs, waterproofing, expansion joints and cathodic protection works across the network.
“We are equally proud to have been a consistent part of the journey, from the original pilot scheme in 1999, to the current award, and it is a pleasure to be part of the community.”
