Festive fundraising and charity at Christmas
This Christmas, VolkerLaser have participated in a number of charitable endeavours in order to support youngsters over the festive period.
Shoebox Appeal - Acorns Children’s Hospice
On the 18th December, we delivered twelve Christmas shoeboxes to Acorns Children’s Hospice, all full to the brim with toys and trinkets from the staff at our Worcester office. The charity were overwhelmed with our gifts, which will be given out during a Christmas party held on Sunday for the children and their siblings. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser in helping to make a child’s Christmas special.
Christmas Jumper Day - Save the Children
VolkerLaser also supported VolkerWessels in sponsoring Save the Children through a Christmas Jumper Day on the 12th December. Staff wore their festive jumpers to work, and together, we managed to raise a grand total of £255.52, with VolkerLaser contributing to £38 of this. Thank you to everyone at our Worcester and Glasgow offices who contributed to the day.
